SSOVA Affiliation

SSOVA — the Sunshine State Outdoor Volleyball Association — is Florida's original player-run beach volleyball tour: “the first beach tour run by the players, for the players.” Since 2004, for 22 years, it has run pro-am tournaments up and down Florida's coast, with divisions for everyone: Men's, Women's and Coed, plus juniors from ages 10 to 18.

Now under owner Prem Persaud, SSOVA is built on one simple promise: great venues, on-time events, quality equipment, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere for all ages.

Over more than two decades, SSOVA became known for running the best-organized tournaments in the country. To carry that standard beyond Florida, they created an affiliation program: when a tournament is affiliated by SSOVA, players can expect the very same standard SSOVA is known for — the same organization, the same player-first spirit, the same quality from check-in to championship.

The Costa Rica Beach Volleyball Tournament in Playa Sámara is proud to be a SSOVA-affiliated event.

It matters because SSOVA runs the best tournaments in the United States — in venues, scheduling, officiating, and atmosphere, everything they do is held to the highest standard. Affiliation means that standard travels with us to Costa Rica.
